Yellow gets the green light
The Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period related to Yellow Corporation’s pending acquisition of Roadway Corporation has expired. The waiting period was related a review of the transaction by the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division. (11/19/2003)
Both Yellow and Roadway are scheduled to hold special stockholder meetings on December 9th to consider the transaction.
With stockholder approvals and the successful completion of financing, the acquisition could be finalised as early as December 11, 2003.
